Books and .. audio ! 298 episodes of the Dragnet radio show from 1949 through 1955. Yes, Sargent Joe Friday himself. There is an entire section at the main page on Grateful Dead concerts, many recordings made by audience members.
Seems to be some “competition” or at least difference in opinion as to how intellectual property is handled - google scanning library books imposes restrictions on how those digitized content are permitted to be searched. See Open Content Alliance (OCA) for the alternative position.
